                               Be Your Own Boss:  The Pre Business Planning Process   
                             
 Learn from our experts what goes into small business ownership and developing the most effective planning approach.  Learn the RAPP of business planning and the critical factors to plan for before you start your business. 
This very basic "introductory" program is designed for people who are just thinking about going into business or
are just starting to plan to start a business. 

        This course will address:  

         √  Deciding how much money you will need

         √  Deciding what equipment and resources you need for the business

         √  Sources and use of funds

         √  Deciding if your idea is viable  

         √  Learn how to locate, interview, and select your expert business team

         √  Take away a checklist for working with your experts.

It is helpful for you to take the "The Essential Six Business Practices" course before you take this   session. 
While not required, we highly recommend you attend the two "Be Your Own Boss" courses prior to taking
the four SCORE Basic Start Up Workshops, then take your next step in starting your own business.

Your Expert Instructor:
      Bob Douthitt: Bob has been a SCORE counselor since 1997 and is currently the Workshop Chairman.
      After his retirement 12 years ago he created his own successful training and consulting business with
      an extensive client list in both Public and Private business sectors.

      Dates and Times: This course is held 6 Saturdays per year from 9:00 am to noon at the Keller Graduate
